BELLIS PERENNIS

This charming European native is an extremely popular plant and a familiar sight in the spring garden. They boast masses of tightly quilled 4cm button, fully double flowers on neat, compact plants. They bloom repeatedly from late winter to late spring in vibrant shades of red, rose and white.  Perfect for use in small beds, edging, borders and rock gardens where it can be interplanting with spring bulbs. It makes an excellent companion for pansies and can also be used window boxes, alpine troughs or other containers.

Easy to grow. For best results provide a moist, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. If the weather is cool, bloom will continue into summer. They have average water needs; water regularly, but do not overwater.  They prefers a cool summer and do not do well in humidity.
