How do I become a CASHBACK cardholder?

Simply pop into your nearest Blackwood’s store and pick up your free CASHBACK card. You’ll then need to register your card in one of the following easy ways:

– Chat to our friendly team in-store and they’ll be happy to register your card for you.
– Scan the QR code on the back of your card and follow the easy prompts.
– Download the App onto your phone and follow the simple instructions.
– Dial *134*8791# and follow the easy prompts (no airtime will be charged).
– Click the purple buttons above and register online.

What information do I need to provide to register my CASHBACK card?

To register your CASHBACK card, you’ll need to provide your name, gender, cell phone number and birthdate.

Please note that we will keep your personal information confidential and will not share it with any third parties, in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We are committed to safe online practices and your details are safe with us.

How do I view my transactions and CASHBACK balances?

When your card is scanned at the till, your CASHBACK balance will be displayed for your convenience. It’s an effortless way to stay in control of your rewards.

Your latest till slip is another handy resource. It not only provides a record of your current purchases, but also includes your CASHBACK balance before your transactions. It’s a quick and easy way to stay informed.

If you have downloaded the Infinity App to your phone, you can also view balances and transactions directly on the App.

Is there an expiry date on the card?

No, there are no expiry dates on the cards. Missing or old/damaged cards may be replaced with new ones and the CASHBACK balance from the old card can be transferred onto a new one. Please note that the issue of a new card will incur a replacement fee of R50.

Can I load money onto my CASHBACK card or any other CashBack cardholder's card?

Yes, you can easily load funds onto CASHBACK cards. Simply visit your nearest Blackwood’s and chat with our cashiers. They’ll require the card number of the card you wish to transfer funds to, and they’ll happily assist you in doing this.

What happens if I lose my CASHBACK Card?

Just visit your nearest Blackwood’s store and request a new card. You’ll need to provide your name, surname and cell phone number to a staff member. This will help us to track your old card and transfer any CASHBACK rewards from the lost card to your new one. This will incur a fee of R50.

Are there additional benefits for Pensioners?

Not only do Pensioners receive the standard CASHBACK benefits of 2.5% on all purchases (excluding promotional items), but shopping at Blackwood’s on Tuesdays entitles them to 10% CASHBACK rewards!

How does CASHBACK work for existing Club of Gardening Members?

Existing Club of Gardening members will enjoy:
– 5% CASHBACK on all purchases at all stores.
– 10% CASHBACK on Tuesdays if they are pensioners.

Earning, Accumulating and Redemption of Rewards Explained

Blackwood’s CashBack Cardholders shall be awarded 2.5% CashBack rewards when they purchase any eligible items at any Blackwood’s stores.
CashBack rewards are excluded from products already on promotion.
Management reserves the right to change the earn percentage without prior consent.
Cardholders may also receive CashBacks as a result of participation in promotional competitions.
CashBacks are expressed in ZAR (South African Rand).
Cardholders acknowledges that CashBack rewards may only be used for the purposes expressly stated under these terms and shall not be construed as amounts due or payable to the cardholder. They may not be redeemed for cash, credit or any other consideration.
CashBack rewards are personal to the cardholder and may not be transferred, assigned or sold, or used in conjunction with the CashBacks of any other cardholder.
A Cardholder may elect to redeem their CashBack rewards when purchasing any eligible goods.
A Cardholder may choose to redeem all or only a portion of the CashBacks available in their Cardholder Account. Where insufficient CashBacks are available in the Cardholder account to enable the purchase of an eligible product, the Cardholder may supplement the CashBacks reward with a cash payment.
Cardholders may not, and will not be able to, redeem more CashBacks than are available in their Cardholder Account.
If any refund is issued to the Cardholder in respect of the purchase of an eligible product in respect of which CashBacks were redeemed by the Cardholder, such CashBacks will be credited to the Cardholder’s account.
