JAPANESE MAPLES – GRAFTED PLANTS NOW IN STOCK

Acer palmatum (Japanese maple) cultivars are amongst the most attractive and sought after small trees for cool climate gardens. There is a select range of grafted plants available right now. Some have finely divided foliage; others have purple or golden leaves, whilst variegated leaves are also part of the spectacular array. The soft new spring growth is quite breath taking and the leaves turn spectacular colours in autumn. Trees are deciduous in winter when their sculptural shape and form is accentuated. Plant these maples in full sun or dappled shade in rich soils that remain moist and damp through the year. Each one has a hybrid name, many of which are Japanese.
