MEXICAN SAGE – HEAVY BLOOMERS

Salvia leucantha has been grown for absolute ages and yet still performs admirably in the garden, lending colour through summer and autumn. The large clumps of multi stemmed perennials are topped with mauve and white flower spikes. Other colours include white and pink or mauve and purple. The bracts are one colour and the tubular flowers are often contrasting creating the impression of two tone flowers. Nectar rich they attract butterflies and insects.
