Protea cynaroides ‘Little Prince’ is available once again. This charming smaller, more compact version of the well known King Protea performs admirably in local gardens. They need full sun, well drained soils and no fertiliser or compost added to the soil at planting time. In fact they are sensitive to phosphates in the soils and prefer little or no fertiliser. Do not dig around or disturb the roots of established plants. The young plants need regular watering until they are established and growing. All plants are propagated from cuttings and as such bloom from a very young age. Blooms make long lasting cut flowers. Plant a part of our spectacular floral heritage in your local garden.
