PROTEA ‘LITTLE PRINCE’

Protea cynaroides ‘Little Prince’ is a charming smaller, more compact version of the well known King Protea.  They perform admirably in local gardens. Plant them out in full sun, well drained soils and make sure not to add any fertiliser or compost to the soil at planting time. Proteas are sensitive to phosphates in the soils and prefer little or no fertiliser. Do not dig around or disturb the roots of established plants. The young plants need regular watering until they are established and growing.  All plants are propagated from cuttings and as such, bloom from a very young age. Blooms make stunning long-lasting cut flowers. Plant a part of our spectacular floral heritage in your local garden.
