The shape and form of fuchsia flowers, combined with their many contrasting colours, makes them such a popular plant for the spring and summer garden.  They enjoy cool roots, morning sun and afternoon shade.  They abhor high summer temperatures.

Regular fertilising with 3:1:6 water soluable plant food every 10 to 14 days keeps them in tip top health.  Check plants for pests and diseases, especially as summer approaches.  Fuchsias are good in pots, hanging baskets and south facing flower beds.
