KNOCKOUT ROSES
Knockout roses are very easy to grow. They do not require too much care. Adding to their appeal is the fact that they are very disease resistant. These roses are also known as “self-cleaning” roses, so there is no real need to deadhead them. Their bloom cycle is about every 5 to 6 weeks. knockout roses can reach approximately 1m to 1.5m wide and 1m to 1.5m tall.
In early spring, a good pruning is recommended. This will help to get top performance out of these fine shrub rose bushes. When caring for knockout roses, feed them with a good organic or chemical granular rose food for their first spring feed. Thereafter, keep them well fed, happy and blooming with foliar feedings. A well fed, well hydrated and actively growing Knockout rose bush will be able to fend off these foes very well.
