VERBENAS BEAT THE HEAT AND DROUGHT

These tough little plants come in a wide range of different forms. Some are grown from seed and are grown as little bushy bedding plants whilst others are grown from cutting and are excellent wide spreading groundcovers for banks and hot dry gardens. A range of bright and clear colours abounds. Some have bi-coloured flowers, whilst others are uniform and striking on their own. Handy hint: Prune back winter and spring flowering shrubs as soon as they have finished flowering. This gives them plenty of time to make new growth and set flower buds for the next season.
